This year [1993] is the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Fatherland Liberation Wait
The Liberation War was a grand decisive battle, in which the People's Army threw off the exploitation and oppression of the American Imperialists who attempted to kill our young republic in its cradle, and became the masters of their own fate. The Liberation War was also a faithful battle against the American Imperialists' robbery and aggression; the war maintained the freedom and independence of the country
and safeguarded the fruits of the victorious revolution.
